Job Duties

  • Perform receptionist duties including routing mail, telephone calls, and directing the public to the appropriate party
  • Maintain community agency of choice lists ensuring all licensures are in order and forms updated as required by DHB
  • Maintain accurate daily Kronos time and attendance records for from home team members
  • Coordinate letters, correspondence, and mailing including trackable mail and requests from case managers
  • Manage provider relations by coordinating vendor setup, informing vendors about accessing CSC/NCTracks for provider enrollment or changes, verifying Medicaid enrollment, and updating selection lists
  • Complete online entry of CAP referrals for DHB screening and track progress, informing callers about waitlist priorities and referring for Money Follows the Person priority when appropriate
  • Maintain tracking log for all waiver purchases, collaborate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable, monitor Medicaid reimbursement in NCTracks, and coordinate inquiries regarding denials or partial payments
  • Maintain EPIC database of active CAP/DA beneficiaries, generate and distribute hospitalized CAP patient reports for discharge planning
  • Support staff in maintaining CAP policies in PolicyTech
  • Maintain resource files/lists and provide information to CAP beneficiaries and community upon request
  • Enter and process all CAP Medicaid billing in Epic, including managing denials to ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Perform other clerical duties in support of the department as assigned
