Job Description

Silvercrest Senior Residences is a dedicated housing community focused on providing affordable and comfortable living arrangements for low-income seniors. Operating under the guidance and financial support of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Silvercrest ensures that residents contribute only thirty percent of their income towards their housing cost, with HUD covering the difference. This initiative not only addresses the critical need for senior housing but also fosters independent living through well-designed apartment-style units. These units vary in size from intimate 22-unit buildings to larger 257-unit communities, each featuring private kitchens and living spaces that encourage autonomy and comfort for senior residents. With a reputation for compassionate care and quality living, Silvercrest Senior Residences stand out as a trusted provider within the senior housing sector, especially in locations like Colorado Springs, Colorado where this job opportunity is based.

The Office Clerk role at Silvercrest Senior Residences in Colorado Springs, CO is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package including full medical, vision, dental coverage, retirement options, life insurance, and more. This position is essential to the smooth operation of the housing facility, providing pivotal reception and administrative support to ensure the highest standards of service for senior residents and staff alike. As an Office Clerk, you will be the primary point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors, answering inquiries, managing telephone communications, and supporting the Property Manager with a variety of office duties. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask across a high-volume desk, and maintain professionalism at all times, especially during emergencies and after-hours on-call situations.

Being part of Silvercrest means contributing to a community that values independence and dignity for seniors while adhering to important regulations established by HUD and company standards. This position also requires using internal systems such as the "Onesite" software to manage work orders, coordinate facility repairs, and distribute relevant notices. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the operational effectiveness of the facility, supporting residents, families, caregivers, medical personnel, and vendors by directing them to appropriate departments or staff members as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to public service and senior care within a structured yet rewarding work environment. Equal employment opportunity is proudly upheld with emphasis on inclusivity, protecting veterans and individuals with disabilities, ensuring a workplace where everyone has access to their rights and professional growth.
