At Luther Ridge at Middletown, every team member is valued for their contribution to the community's mission to empower individuals to meet life’s challenges with confidence and dignity. This focus on community, care, and professionalism makes Luther Ridge a special place where residents not only receive care but also experience a sense of belonging and respect.

The role of an Attendant at Luther Ridge at Middletown is pivotal in maintaining the community’s welcoming atmosphere and smooth operations. As an Attendant, you are much more than a front desk presence. You are considered the heartbeat of the building, responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment that positively impacts residents, families, and staff every day. Your role includes managing visitor interactions, handling administrative tasks, and monitoring security to ensure the facility runs efficiently. This is a per diem position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team in a meaningful healthcare setting. The hourly wage or salary is competitive and reflects the level of responsibility and skills required.

As the central point of contact within the facility, the Attendant manages incoming calls, transfers them appropriately, and takes messages when necessary. Greeting visitors warmly and assisting with their needs is an essential task, including ensuring that visits are approved and that security protocols are observed. The Attendant also plays a critical role in the emergency response process by notifying staff, emergency personnel, and family members when appropriate. Additionally, the position involves performing security rounds, maintaining organization in the work area, coordinating incoming mail distribution, and supporting departmental needs with secretarial duties.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in a busy work environment. The Attendant must be proficient in basic computer use and familiar with office equipment and supplies. There is also a strong emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures. Individuals who thrive in this role are compassionate, dependable, and committed to the mission of strengthening communities by empowering people.

In summary, working as an Attendant at Luther Ridge at Middletown offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in a senior living environment. You will be part of a compassionate team that values professionalism, respect, and community engagement.
