We are currently seeking a part-time Office Assistant for our Henderson Morningstar Storage facility. This role is perfect for individuals who have a talent for solving problems, organizing efficiently, and delivering superior customer service. The position involves working closely with the Property Manager and the broader team to uphold high standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction. As an Office Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support in daily office operations, ranging from customer interactions and sales lead management to administrative tasks and property maintenance support. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth communication across the team and contributing to the overall success and growth of the facility. This position requires a positive, proactive attitude, strong computer skills especially with Microsoft Office Suite, and a flexible schedule that includes weekend availability. You will be encouraged to learn continuously through hands-on training, leadership guidance, and company-provided resources to enhance your skills and career prospects within Morningstar Properties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and email
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and move freely throughout the property
  • Ability to climb a ladder and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 50 pounds
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Positive and dependable work ethic
  • Flexible scheduling availability

Job Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license for occasional work-related driving tasks

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building strong relationships, responding professionally to inquiries, and supporting customers
  • Support property sales goals by closing sales leads, demonstrating strong phone sales skills, leveraging our technology platform, proficiently following up on all leads, and demonstrating pricing knowledge
  • Demonstrate understanding of property operations, competition, and KPIs to support sound business decisions
  • Execute daily office operations including customer transactions, phone management, lead tracking, documentation, and administrative programs
  • Continually learn property systems, procedures, and best practices through hands-on training, leadership from the Property Manager, and guidance from the broader Morningstar team
  • Support the team in maintaining an industry-leading, great-looking property by assisting with cleanliness standards, curb appeal, and overall site organization
  • Conduct regular property walk throughs and work independently, adapting to new tools and technology
