Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with PCs printers calculators and other office equipment
  • Ability to use word processing software and create spreadsheets
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and provide receptionist services including greeting visitors and managing inquiries
  • Process registrations for both new and used vehicles in their respective states
  • Accurately prepare tax and title documents
  • Submit legal transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all applications and documents
  • Prepare payoff checks for trade-ins
  • Track outstanding title work and provide regular status updates to management
  • Sign over titles for wholesalers and generate monthly reports on collected funds
  • Process and register vehicle warranties and extended service contracts maintaining accurate logs
  • Stay current with title regulations by attending relevant seminars and training sessions
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
