The position available is a Front Desk Receptionist and Office Support role located at the Corporate Office. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day administrative functions while acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. Under general supervision, the individual will provide excellent customer service and comprehensive office support duties primarily within the front receptionist area, mailroom, and supporting various Corporate Office functions. This position demands a professional demeanor, effective communication skills, and a commitment to the Graniterock's Family Vision and Core Values.

The specialist in this role will handle a wide range of responsibilities, including greeting visitors, managing incoming and outgoing calls, and directing them to the appropriate teams or branches. They will also oversee mailroom tasks such as organizing mail distribution, handling courier packages, and managing outgoing shipments including freight services like FedEx and UPS. Coordination with vendors supplying maintenance and repair services for mailroom equipment is also a key responsibility.

Additionally, the role supports the Accounts Receivable (AR) department by assisting with bank deposits, preparing weekly invoices, drafting courtesy letters, and compiling end-of-month summaries for mailing. The position requires a reliable individual capable of maintaining tidy general use areas including copy rooms, meeting spaces, and the kitchen area referred to as the Cookhouse. Responsibilities include inventory management and ensuring these spaces are well-stocked.

The Office Support professional will also be tasked with managing the file archives for the Corporate Office, ensuring compliance with document retention guidelines through the retention and shredding process. This comprehensive role demands organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining alignment with the company’s operational standards.

The typical work hours are flexible between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to meet business needs. Job Requirements

  • One or more years general office experience

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to organize billing and inventory
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Must have a clean driving record
