Job Description

The Vibe is an energetic Venture Capital firm located in the heart of San Francisco, operating out of a stunning 5,000 square foot office space that blends technology, innovation, and community into a dynamic and inspiring workspace. Our firm is dedicated to fostering the growth of emerging startups and supporting visionary entrepreneurs who are driving the future of technology and innovation. At The Vibe, we believe that a vibrant office environment and strong community connections are key to inspiring creativity and collaboration among founders, investors, and our internal team.

We are currently seeking a vibrant and detail-oriented Office and Event Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our office runs smoothly and acts as the central hub for engaging events that connect the venture capital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, enjoying a blend of responsibilities that combine office management with event production. This unique position allows you to be the welcoming face of our firm, ensuring that visiting founders, investors, and employees experience a professional and hospitable environment.

As an Office and Event Coordinator at The Vibe, you will spend half of your time focused on day-to-day office operations, maintaining our large office space, managing relationships with vendors such as catering and supplies, and supporting the overall functionality and ambiance of our workspace. The other half of your role will be dedicated to orchestrating a variety of events that range from intimate founder dinners to lively demo days and networking mixers. Attention to detail, proactive coordination, and excellent communication skills will be crucial as you handle event logistics, manage RSVPs, coordinate technological and audiovisual setups, and ensure that each event runs flawlessly.

This role also includes being a Culture Champion, infusing energy and vitality into the office culture by collaborating on initiatives that transform our physical space into a vibrant hub for the San Francisco tech community. You will support partners with light administrative tasks, manage conference room scheduling, and always greet guests with a hospitality-first mindset.

The position suits a candidate who is high energy, people-first, obsessively detailed, adaptable, and tech-savvy. Experience with tools such as Slack, G Suite, and Eventbrite or Luma is important, as is the ability to troubleshoot basic office tech issues. We value personality and potential highly, offering the opportunity for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or office coordination to grow and thrive within our innovative firm.

Joining The Vibe means gaining direct exposure to the venture capital and startup ecosystem, enjoying a contemporary and inspiring workspace in San Francisco, and building a personal and professional network within one of the world’s leading tech hubs. If you are passionate about hospitality, have a love for tech culture, and enjoy making things happen, we would love to meet you and see how you can contribute to our team.
