We are currently seeking a seasoned Off-Site Banquet Server to enhance our dedicated team at Fountain Square Indianapolis. This role specifically focuses on service delivery at off-site events, which requires flexibility, independence, and a solid background in banquet service. The Off-Site Banquet Server will be entrusted with the responsibility of setting up banquet events in various locations outside the primary venue. This includes organizing tables, chairs, and buffet stations to ensure a smooth and professional event experience. Additionally, the server will be in charge of transporting food safely and efficiently, maintaining buffet lines, and adhering strictly to all health and sanitation guidelines.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong customer service skills accompanied by a hospitable and professional demeanor. They should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, especially since the position primarily covers weekday daytime hours. Job Duties

  • set up banquet events at off-site locations including arranging tables chairs and buffet stations
  • transport food safely and efficiently to event sites
  • set up and maintain buffet lines and pop-up stations
  • follow all health code guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness
  • provide above and beyond customer service with a hospitable and professional attitude
  • clean and organize event areas before during and after events
  • communicate effectively with team members and event coordinators
  • function independently with minimal supervision
  • be prompt and reliable for all scheduled shifts
  • lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more as needed
