We are currently seeking a Part-Time Event Manager to join our team. This role is designed for an organized and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The Part-Time Event Manager will oversee all facets of event execution, from setup to breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction. This is a flexible part-time position requiring availability for 8- to 10-hour shifts, including weekends. While remote work is permitted to a certain extent, the role necessitates in-person presence at event venues and our central offices when required.

The Event Manager will serve as the primary point of contact during events, managing timelines, coordinating with vendors and staff, and troubleshooting any issues that arise on site. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for conducting event walkthroughs with clients to confirm all logistical details and develop actionable plans to enhance the event experience. Apart from direct event responsibilities, the Event Manager must participate in weekly meetings to ensure alignment and smooth communication across the team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage the execution of events, ensuring smooth operations from setup to breakdown
  • act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, addressing any last-minute requests or concerns
  • manage the event timeline, ensuring adherence to the schedule, and coordinate with vendors and staff as needed
  • supervise setup and breakdown crews, ensuring the event space is prepared according to client specifications
  • handle onsite troubleshooting, including managing guest flow and coordinating with catering staff
  • conduct event walkthroughs with clients prior to events to confirm event flow and logistics
  • create a checklist and action plan based on walkthroughs to share with team and vendors
