Occupational therapists at CenterWell assess patients’ daily living and work-related skills to develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. The role requires delivering personalized therapeutic treatments and instruction aligned with physician orders to enhance or restore patients' strength, coordination, range of motion, and functional ability or to teach compensatory techniques. You will collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and revise patient care plans, ensuring the care provided aligns with patients’ unique goals and rehabilitation programs. \n\nCentral to this role is the responsibility to report patient progress accurately and participate in care coordination and discharge planning activities. The therapist will design community reintegration activities to assist clients with physical reconditioning and psychological adjustment, recommend and customize adaptive equipment to improve patients’ home or work environments, and train staff and family members to support patients’ therapeutic regimens effectively. The position also incorporates supervising and evaluating Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides to ensure quality implementation of occupational therapy services.
