This Occupational Therapist position is specifically designed for those interested in outpatient therapy within assisted living and residential care settings. The role offers a flexible, Monday through Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, providing a perfect blend of rewarding patient care and personal life balance. As an Occupational Therapist at Aegis Therapies, you will be working primarily with higher functioning senior residents in idyllic communities such as The Lodge at White Bear Lake, as well as locations in Maplewood and Centerville, Minnesota. You will provide meaningful therapy services either in residents' rooms or within an on-site outpatient clinic, eliminating the need for travel outside the facility.

Job Requirements

  • Current license or eligibility for Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday
  • Ability to provide therapy services in outpatient and assisted living settings
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior outpatient experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Current license as Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain in the state of practice
  • Previous experience in outpatient therapy preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Provide occupational therapy services to residents in outpatient and assisted living settings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and lifestyle adaptations
