Job Description

TJX Companies, a Fortune 100 global leader in off-price retail, offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment that fosters diversity, collaboration, and professional growth. TJX operates several well-known retail brands, including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense, Sierra, Winners, and TK Maxx, serving millions of customers worldwide. Their commitment to providing high-quality products at affordable prices has made them one of the fastest-growing retailers globally. The company supports its workforce through multiple global home offices, distribution centers, and retail stores, facilitating a culture where every employee has the opportunity to learn, thrive, and make a meaningful impact.

Among these exciting opportunities is a vital role at the USA HomeGoods Distribution Center located in Tucson. This position offers a starting salary range between $75,200 and $99,600 per year, dependent on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, and is also eligible for an annual incentive. This role is perfect for someone passionate about occupational health, workplace safety, and associate well-being, offering a career path with ample growth and development at a globally recognized company.

The position focuses on supporting Distribution Center associates by providing healthcare aid and leadership within the health and safety programs. As a key member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with Operations and Facilities teams to implement and maintain health and safety standards within the facility. Responsibilities include delivering treatment for work-related injuries or illnesses, acting as the point-person for workers' compensation claims, case management, and coordinating health care services when incidents occur.

Additionally, this role plays a crucial part in supporting various safety and wellness initiatives to promote a healthy and safe work environment. Reviewing first reports of injury, maintaining strong communication with associates, medical providers, insurance carriers, and corporate partners are integral aspects of day-to-day duties. The role is designed to ensure that all aspects of occupational health are managed effectively, underlining TJX's commitment to associate safety and well-being.

Candidates should possess a BS degree in Nursing, although LPNs with relevant experience may also be considered. The ideal applicant has a minimum of three years of occupational health experience in distribution or manufacturing settings, evidencing expertise in occupational health principles, workers' compensation, medical leave management, and wellness programs. Required certifications include CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens. The role also demands flexibility in schedule, with availability to be on-call for consultations, mostly handled via telephone or video call. While not mandatory, bilingual skills in English and Spanish are strongly preferred to better serve a diverse associate base.

TJX Companies provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support associates both personally and professionally. These benefits include associate discounts, 401(k) plan with company match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, bereavement, and parental leave. Additional support programs such as Employee Assistance Program (EAP), incentive programs for management, auto and home insurance discounts, tuition reimbursement, scholarship programs, adoption and surrogacy assistance, smoking cessation, child care support, cell phone discounts, pet and legal insurance, credit union membership, and referral bonuses further enhance the employee experience.

At TJX, every associate is valued, and the company emphasizes equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, gender identity and expression, marital or military status, or any other protected class under applicable law. The company also provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive workplace.

This HomeGoods Distribution Center position in Tucson offers a unique chance to join the TJX family and contribute to a leading off-price retail organization while advancing one's career in occupational health and safety within a vibrant and supportive environment.
