Job Description

Lifeline Medical Associates, Eric Bentolila, M.D., PA is a distinguished healthcare provider located in Ridgewood, New Jersey. As part of the larger network of Unified Women's Healthcare, LLC, one of the nation's largest physician-owned obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) practice networks, Lifeline Medical Associates offers exceptional, patient-centered care to women in the Northern New Jersey region. With over 23 years of established history, the practice has developed a strong patient base by delivering comprehensive women's health services with a team-oriented approach. The practice currently includes two highly skilled OB/GYN physicians supported by an experienced and dedicated staff, aiming to make every patient visit individualized and meaningful.

The practice is strategically located in Ridgewood, NJ, with deliveries and gynecological surgeries performed at The Valley Hospital. This hospital is known for its advanced medical facilities, including a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), hospitalist support, robotic technology for specialized gynecological surgeries, and a newly established OB/GYN residency program that began in July 2024. This blend of high-quality hospital resources and an established outpatient office environment makes Lifeline Medical Associates an attractive choice for both graduating residents and experienced physicians seeking a rewarding career in women’s health.

The available OB/GYN Physician position offers a full-time or part-time opportunity in a thriving, supportive clinical setting. The practice emphasizes professional growth and mentorship, as seasoned physicians are encouraged to guide younger practitioners through the transition into private practice. The clinic averages about 25 patient visits per day, with a manageable on-call schedule of one day per week and one in six weekends. Physicians enjoy a post-call day off, promoting a balanced work-life experience.

Salaries are competitive, starting at $325,000 for board-eligible physicians and $375,000 or more for board-certified candidates. In addition, the employment package includes a four-week vacation starting period, relocation assistance, sign-on and retention bonuses, and eligibility for a collections/productivity-based income model after two years. The comprehensive benefits package covers health, dental, life, short-term and long-term disability, vision insurance, malpractice insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan. This is a drug-free workplace and an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.

Ridgewood offers a unique blend of suburban tranquility and city convenience. Centered around its train station and vibrant town square, the village provides easy access to Midtown Manhattan via a 45-minute train ride, making it ideal for commuters. The community boasts a charming downtown with local restaurants and businesses alongside peaceful residential neighborhoods. Additionally, nearby Bayonne, located in Hudson County, New Jersey, adds to the region's appeal with its coastal charm, affordable real estate, and proximity to major urban hubs. Together, these features make this position appealing for professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle with rich cultural and recreational opportunities.

Unified Women’s Healthcare, LLC serves as the umbrella organization facilitating recruitment for this and many other OB/GYN positions nationwide. Their commitment is to support physician-owned practices by providing business innovations, resources, training, and assistance while ensuring that clinical decisions remain firmly in the hands of physicians. Joining this network means gaining affiliation with a large, respected organization dedicated to advancing women’s healthcare without compromising physician autonomy or quality of care.
