Job Description
GranCo LLC is a dedicated local transportation company partnering with Amazon Freight Partner, focused on providing exceptional freight hauling services in the Hayward, CA area. As a committed small business, GranCo LLC benefits from the strength and resources typical of larger companies, while maintaining the personalized and community-driven approach that smaller firms embody. The company’s exclusive partnership with Amazon allows it to specialize in hauling Amazon loads, ensuring operational excellence and maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction. This partnership highlights GranCo LLC's pivotal role in Amazon's logistics network, particularly focusing on local and regional routes that contribute to reliable and timely package delivery around the Bay Area, including the critical Port of Oakland region. GranCo LLC’s reputation is founded on safety, professionalism, and efficiency, cultivating an environment that supports employee growth and well-being alongside delivering superior service to its partners and their customers. Employees enjoy a supportive work culture, shaped by transparency and mutual respect between management and drivers alike.
The role available is for motivated full-time Class A CDL Drivers, who will play an essential part in supporting Amazon’s freight operations. This position offers an attractive compensation package with take-home pay reaching up to $75,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits plan that provides health and dental insurance, paid time off, and options for 401(k) participation via CalSavers. These drivers are entrusted with hauling 100% no-touch Amazon freight using state-of-the-art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand-new day cabs, ensuring comfort and efficiency on the road. The position emphasizes work-life balance by offering local and regional routes that allow drivers to be home daily, thus fostering family connections and personal time outside work.
Successful candidates will be working a minimum of 39 hours per week structured as three 13-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, with additional opportunities for overtime and extra shifts when desired. They will be critical in maintaining Amazon’s promise to exceed customer expectations through timely and accurate delivery services. The routes involve going in and out of the Port of Oakland and pulling containers to nearby warehouses, a vital task requiring reliability, attention to detail, and compliance with safety standards. GranCo LLC offers immediate job offers contingent upon eligibility and background checks, reflecting the company’s need for dependable, qualified professionals who are ready to contribute immediately to their freight hauling operations.
The role is designed for proactive individuals who are at least 21 years old, possess a clean driving record, have valid Class A CDL credentials, and demonstrate the capability to communicate effectively in English. Familiarity with handheld technology and smartphone applications such as GPS is essential, as these tools are used regularly to enhance operational coordination and efficiency. While a TWIC card is preferred, it is not mandatory, making the position accessible to a wider applicant pool. The hiring process ensures that all employees meet DOT physical standards and pass necessary background checks and drug screenings to uphold safety and integrity on every route.
Overall, this opportunity with GranCo LLC as an Amazon Freight Partner is ideal for experienced drivers seeking competitive pay, consistent schedules, and the chance to work with cutting-edge equipment. It exemplifies a balance of challenging work with rewarding benefits and the advantage of being associated with one of the world’s largest companies through a reputable local partner. GranCo LLC embraces equal employment opportunities and invites all qualified applicants to join a dynamic and growing team dedicated to outstanding service in the logistics and transportation industry.
