The position of Nutritional Assistant 2 / Dish Room Tech at WK Medical Center is an essential role within the Dietary-Kitchen department. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time, evenings, and rotating shifts
  • Must be able to work during weather/disaster emergencies as an essential employee
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and lifting tasks
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Prior food service or healthcare experience preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes for all patient meals
  • Participate in all patient meal tray lines
  • Deliver and pick up all patient food carts
  • Deliver requested floor stock to all patient units
  • Periodically work in other areas of the kitchen and cafeteria
  • Will be considered an ESSENTIAL employee during weather/disaster emergencies
  • Participate in all departmental meetings
  • Maintain a relationship with all kitchen staff to ensure quality of work
  • Responsible for ensuring an exemplary level of cleanliness in the dish room and kitchen
