Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate cash register accurately
- Availability to work full-time, evenings, and rotating shifts
- Ability to work during weather or disaster emergencies as an ESSENTIAL employee
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and cafeteria environment
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to participate in departmental meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or cashier role preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Duties
- Sets up and maintains hot or cold food service lines
- Operates cash register to ensure accurate charges
- Responsible for giving exceptional customer service
- Participates in all cafeteria meetings
- Maintain relationship with all Nutritional Service staff to ensure quality of work
- Will be considered an ESSENTIAL employee during weather/disaster emergencies
- Will periodically work in other areas of the kitchen and cafeteria
- Will participate in all department meetings
