The role of Nutrition Associate Manager within Aramark Student Nutrition is crucial to ensuring that the company delivers a nutritionally sound and cost-efficient food program tailored to the needs of students while complying with all applicable local nutrition regulations. This position involves hands-on responsibility for menu planning, recipe development, and nutrient analysis in compliance with government-mandated nutritional standards and Aramark’s internal guidelines. The Nutrition Associate Manager plays a significant role in the implementation of healthy menu strategies and works collaboratively with Food and Beverage Development teams as well as management to maintain high foodservice management standards. This role also emphasizes education and outreach, where the manager educates clients and consumers about healthy food choices, conducting school training sessions and community engagement activities. Regular visits to school cafes to monitor program quality and assist with employee training are also integral to the position.

The position offers a competitive pay range from $60,940.00 to $65,000.00 annually, reflecting the specialized knowledge and skills required. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited institution
  • valid certifications or licenses as required by local regulations
  • minimum of relevant experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to train and educate school staff and consumers
  • capability to analyze nutritional content and ensure compliance with regulations
  • physically able to visit school sites regularly
  • positive attitude and commitment to teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Previous relevant working experience preferred
  • requires a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution with course work accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies
  • earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies
  • formal eligibility to practice dietetics in geographic location where applicable
  • ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • ability to maintain a contagious and positive work ethic and inspire others

Job Duties

  • Plans menus in accordance with Aramark guidelines
  • assist with managing and creating new ingredients
  • supports the maintenance of recipe development, menu production, and foodservice management standards
  • supports nutrient analysis for all food items served
  • educates clients and consumers regarding healthy food choices through school training and community outreach
  • visits school cafes on a regular basis
