This opportunity is for the position of Nutrition Associate Manager at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and managing nutrition programs tailored to meet therapeutic and operational needs within correctional facilities. The position involves conducting nutrition assessments, developing care plans, educating clients, and providing necessary follow-up within onsite clinic settings. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including medical staff and food service directors, to ensure the effective implementation of therapeutic diet orders. This role demands strong organizational skills, technical nutritional competence, and the ability to communicate effectively across various teams.

As a Nutrition Associate Manager, your responsibilities extend beyond direct client interaction to include quality assurance in food service production, coordination of diet orders, and overseeing proper documentation related to therapeutic diets. You will assist in staff training, support resolution of grievances related to diet concerns, and contribute to the creation of in-service training programs. The role also involves administrative duties such as preparing reports and assembling field tools.
