The House Supervisor role at Cedars Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital is a pivotal position that directly influences the daily operations and overall quality of nursing services. Job Requirements

  • Valid California RN license
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to work evening to early morning shifts
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe environment

Job Qualifications

  • Valid California RN License
  • a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification preferred
  • three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • one or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred
  • demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development

Job Duties

  • Supervises nursing staff, schedule shifts and their day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership
  • perform administrative duties including scheduling nursing shifts
  • collaborate with other departments and programs to achieve interdisciplinary improvements
  • maintain a safe environment for staff and patients through awareness of surroundings and participation in the safety program
  • identify and solve patients concerns, questions, and suggestions to ensure quality care is delivered
  • collaborate to problem solve and make decisions to achieve desired outcomes
  • establish effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
