Job Requirements
- Valid California RN license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Ability to work evening to early morning shifts
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe environment
Job Qualifications
- Valid California RN License
- a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Master’s degree preferred
- current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- PALS certification preferred
- three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- one or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred
- demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development
Job Duties
- Supervises nursing staff, schedule shifts and their day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership
- perform administrative duties including scheduling nursing shifts
- collaborate with other departments and programs to achieve interdisciplinary improvements
- maintain a safe environment for staff and patients through awareness of surroundings and participation in the safety program
- identify and solve patients concerns, questions, and suggestions to ensure quality care is delivered
- collaborate to problem solve and make decisions to achieve desired outcomes
- establish effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
