The role of Patient Care Manager at Good Samaritan Medical Center is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced registered nurse who is passionate about leadership and excellence in healthcare delivery. This full-time position offers up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months, underscoring the hospital’s commitment to recruiting and retaining top talent.
As a Patient Care Manager, you will take charge of directing and evaluating all patient care activities within your designated area of responsibility. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of fiscal management, including managing operational and capital expenditures effectively. You will be instrumental in implementing performance improvement strategies that enhance the quality of care and operational efficiency. Additionally, maintaining high educational standards for nursing staff is a critical component of this role, which includes the development and facilitation of staff training programs aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements
- Licensed registered nurse in the state of Florida
- graduate of an approved school of nursing with a baccalaureate degree in nursing or enrollment in a baccalaureate nursing program with completion within 2 years
- current CPR certification
- advanced cardiac life support certification
- minimum two years nursing experience in relevant clinical area
- at least one year nursing management experience
- ability to lift 5-40 pounds frequently
- ability to lift over 40 pounds occasionally with assistance
- ability to operate office equipment such as computers and telephones
- ability to walk, bend, push, and pull frequently
- adequate vision and hearing
Job Qualifications
- Licensed registered nurse in the state of Florida
- graduate of an approved school of nursing with a baccalaureate degree in nursing or matriculated in a baccalaureate nursing program with completion within 2 years
- CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- minimum two years of nursing experience in clinical focus area
- minimum one year of nursing management experience
