Job Description

Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is a reputable nonprofit, faith-based organization headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, dedicated to providing exceptional housing, care, and services to older adults. With a legacy dating back to 1955, PHS has grown to become one of the largest nonprofit providers of senior housing and services in the nation, serving over 41,800 older adults across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. They operate through 60 PHS-affiliated senior living communities and Optage® home and community services, as well as co-owning Genevive, the largest geriatric primary care practice in Minnesota. Emphasizing values rooted in Christian Ministry, PHS's mission is to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults. Their approach fosters independence, purposeful living, and overall well-being for those they serve.

EagleCrest, a community under the PHS umbrella, exemplifies these values. Located conveniently near Rosedale Mall in Roseville, Minnesota, EagleCrest offers a comprehensive range of care options, including Assisted Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care, and Enhanced Assisted Living. Established in 1994 as a partnership between PHS and Northwestern College, EagleCrest is a vibrant and close-knit community focused on delivering high-quality, personalized care to older adults in a supportive environment. The community’s prime location offers easy access to Minneapolis, St. Paul, and nearby towns like Arden Hills, Columbia Heights, Shoreview, Little Canada, and St. Paul.

EagleCrest is currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Nursing Assistants to join their Assisted Living team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality personal care and services, aligned with residents' individually designed living choices. The positions available include Full-Time and Part-Time PM shifts (2:00pm-10:00pm) and overnight shifts (10:00pm-6:00am), some with weekend rotations. The estimated starting pay ranges from $21.00 to $22.90 per hour, reflecting PHS’s commitment to competitive and fair compensation based on qualifications and market conditions.

As a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide at EagleCrest, you become part of a dedicated team that values enabling, empowering, engaging, educating, and inspiring each other. The organization embraces a person-directed, resident-focused care philosophy and encourages self-leadership, critical thinking, teamwork, and interpersonal effectiveness. Employees enjoy a supportive culture that honors people’s talents and provides resources necessary for success. EagleCrest offers numerous amenities such as discounted employee meals, free fitness center access, and off-street parking with an option for heated parking.

PHS prioritizes creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for residents, employees, guests, and volunteers alike. Guided by a Biblical Framework and the "Love One Another" Christian ministry theme, all team members are expected to uphold values that reflect the love of God through their service. This faith-based foundation helps define the community culture, promoting respect, dignity, and compassion in every interaction.

By joining EagleCrest, you align yourself with an innovative leader in senior care that not only values skill and professional qualifications but also the heart and dedication to serving older adults. The position offers opportunities for career growth, access to educational assistance programs, and a range of benefits for full-time and part-time employees alike. Whether new to caregiving or experienced, candidates who resonate with PHS’s mission and values will find a meaningful and fulfilling place to work, making a tangible difference in the lives of older adults every day.
