Founded in 1955 and based in St. Paul, Minnesota, PHS has grown to become one of the largest nonprofit providers of senior housing and services in the United States. The organization serves over 41,800 older adults across 60 affiliated senior living communities in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, along with providing home and community services through Optage®. PHS also co-owns Genevive, Minnesota's largest geriatric primary care practice, offering comprehensive care to more than 15,500 older adults. The core mission of PHS centers on honoring God by enriching lives and touching hearts through purposeful living, independence, and well-being for seniors.
Waverly Gardens, one of the esteemed communities under PHS, is nestled on ten acres of lush parkland located 15 miles north of St. Paul, Minnesota. The community's architecture embodies a charming Old World aesthetic combined with modern luxurious amenities, creating a warm and inviting environment. Waverly Gardens offers a spectrum of care options including Assisted Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care, Enhanced Assisted Living, and Long-Term Care within its Care Center. The community is ideally situated near lakes, parks, and trails, fostering a lifestyle that is rich in natural beauty.
Waverly Gardens is currently seeking compassionate, dedicated Non-Certified Nursing Assistants (Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide/Resident Assistant) to join their team in Assisted Living. Available positions include part-time and full-time shifts during the evening (2 PM - 10 PM) and overnight (10 PM - 6 AM). These roles offer flexible scheduling options ranging from 15 to 60 hours per pay period, making it suitable for various availability. The hourly pay range is estimated between $21.00 and $22.90, reflective of qualifications and market conditions. The role is perfect for those who feel a calling to caregiving and are eager to impact the lives of older adults by providing high-quality personal care that supports resident-directed living choices.
As a team member at Waverly Gardens, you benefit from being part of a close-knit, community-focused work environment where teamwork, respect, and personal growth are highly valued. PHS prioritizes the empowerment and education of its workforce, offering ample opportunities for career advancement and development within a mission-driven organization. Employees enjoy a variety of amenities including free fitness center access, discounted meals, off-street parking, and employee recognition events. The organization embraces diversity and fosters an inclusive culture that welcomes all individuals and honors Christian ministry values centered on love and grace. Joining Waverly Gardens means joining a community where you can truly put your purpose to work by making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
