Job Description
Curana Health is a rapidly growing healthcare organization dedicated to radically improving the health, happiness, and dignity of older adults. Founded in 2021, Curana Health has quickly established itself as a national leader in value-based care, providing senior living communities and skilled nursing facilities with innovative healthcare solutions that emphasize quality, coordination, and improved outcomes. Currently serving over 200,000 seniors in more than 1,500 communities across 32 states, Curana Health employs a diverse team of more than 1,000 clinicians along with care coordinators, analysts, and operational professionals. These experts collaborate to deliver proactive, comprehensive care solutions that enhance senior living experiences and support healthcare providers in meeting the unique needs of their residents.
The organization’s comprehensive suite of offerings includes on-site primary care services, Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), and Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans (SNPs), all designed to improve health outcomes, streamline healthcare operations, and generate new financial opportunities for senior living operators. Recognized as the 147th fastest-growing private company on the Inc. 5000 list, and earning high rankings within the healthcare and medical industry, Curana Health is positioning itself as a major force in transforming senior healthcare nationwide.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role at Curana Health is a vital part of this transformation. This full-time position involves delivering high-quality primary care within skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and senior living environments, including assisted and independent living communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care aimed at promoting wellness, managing chronic health conditions, and coordinating care plans effectively with other healthcare professionals. The role not only demands clinical expertise but also requires a compassionate approach to support seniors’ quality of life meaningfully.
As a healthcare provider with Curana Health, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize preventive care and chronic disease management. The position includes regular rounds to monitor patient health status, adapt treatments, and address urgent health concerns proactively. Coordination with facility staff, family members, and medical teams ensures that care delivery is seamless and centered on each resident’s unique needs. Patient and family education on disease prevention and health maintenance is another crucial element of the role, empowering individuals to participate in their care actively.
Curana Health supports its clinicians with modern technology platforms, including data-driven tools and AI solutions that provide deeper insights into patient needs and improve care management. This advanced infrastructure is combined with a culture of professional development, offering continuing medical education (CME) support and quality incentives based on patient outcomes. The autonomy of practice is balanced with robust clinical and administrative backing, creating an environment where providers can practice at the top of their license while benefitting from organizational resources.
By joining Curana Health, you enter an organization committed to healthcare innovation, compassionate service, and meaningful impact. Employees enjoy competitive compensation with unlimited earning potential, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work-life balance including generous paid time off. The benefits package extends to medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, disability coverage, malpractice insurance, and subscriptions to professional clinical resources.
This role does require travel between designated facilities, ensuring that care is delivered consistently wherever needed. Curana Health also maintains a commitment to regulatory compliance and quality assurance, engaging its clinicians in ongoing initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and reduce hospital readmissions. For healthcare professionals passionate about making a difference in the senior care landscape, Curana Health offers a rewarding career path filled with professional growth and the chance to profoundly impact the lives of older adults.
