The group is committed to the core values of dignity, service, excellence, and justice, which guide the delivery of healthcare to patients. With a team of skilled physicians spanning virtually every specialty, St. Joseph Heritage offers a wide range of medical services from primary care to advanced surgical procedures. Its convenient locations in Orange County make accessing high-quality care efficient and patient-friendly. The organization is part of Providence, a nationally recognized healthcare system that spans seven states, serving over 122,000 caregivers and employees, including 34,000 physicians across 51 hospitals and more than 1,000 clinics. Providence is dedicated to providing compassionate care, especially to underserved and vulnerable populations, under the motto ‘One name, one family, one extraordinary health system.’
The available position is for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join the Internal Medicine team at the Batavia Woods Medical Center in Orange, California. This medical center is part of the Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange campus, offering a strong support network including direct access to pharmacists and nutrition teams. This role primarily focuses on providing care to established patients through overflow, tasking, and coverage responsibilities. Providers can expect to manage a patient workload of approximately 14 to 18 patients daily, with regular visits allotting 20 minutes per patient and more complex procedural patients requiring up to 40 minutes.
The position features a Monday through Friday work schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with outpatient care only and no on-call duties. Compensation for this role ranges from $173,791 to $237,849 annually, inclusive of potential productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, hospital or emergency department call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits consistent with employment at Providence medical groups. This competitive salary range is provided in accordance with state law and reflects starting total compensation. Preference will be given to experienced candidates, and Spanish-speaking skills are considered a plus.
Orange, California, offers a unique blend of suburban charm and cultural richness, featuring preserved historic districts alongside modern amenities. The city benefits from a mild Mediterranean climate due to its coastal proximity and the Santa Ana Mountains.
