Job Description

CVS Health is a leading healthcare innovation company, dedicated to building a world of health around every individual. As a Fortune Top 10 industry leader and the largest retail healthcare provider in the United States, CVS Health is committed to creating more connected, convenient, and compassionate health experiences for patients, families, and communities. The company values passionate colleagues who care deeply, innovate with purpose, hold themselves accountable, and prioritize safety and quality in everything they do. CVS Health fosters an inclusive and diverse environment where every employee feels valued and empowered to make a meaningful difference in healthcare.

MinuteClinic, part of CVS Health, is a unique healthcare setting that provides accessible, affordable, and comprehensive high-quality care. Providers at MinuteClinic are empowered to practice holistically with strong clinical support, collaborative resources, and a unified team-based approach. The organization holds the American Nurses Credentialing Center Pathway to Excellence designation, recognizing its commitment to a healthy work environment through transformational leadership, quality, safety, shared governance, well-being, and professional development.

The role available at MinuteClinic is clinic-based, focused on delivering high-level in-person patient care. Alongside in-person care, providers may conduct virtual visits from the clinic during periods of lower on-site patient volume, ensuring flexibility and uninterrupted care. This position offers autonomy to manage clinical practice with dedicated organizational and collaborative support, flexible scheduling for strong work-life balance, and access to exceptional tools, clinical resources, and evidence-based guidelines. Providers get to utilize leading assessment and treatment planning tools, delivering both in-person and virtual care based on patient demand and clinical judgment. This role enables practitioners to operate at the top of their license with comprehensive clinical team support and offers significant professional growth opportunities. Charting and follow-up duties are completed during scheduled shifts, supporting a healthy work-life integration with no work taken home.

Typical duties include delivering evidence-based primary and family care, performing diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, treating injuries and illnesses, managing acute and chronic conditions, engaging patients in wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. Providers are also involved in essential clinic operations such as inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a safe and efficient care environment.

The role requires physical presence at the assigned clinic and the ability to perform clinical duties involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching. MinuteClinic values professional development and supports providers with training on the EPIC electronic health record, virtual care, and digital health tools for enhanced patient care delivery. The pay range for this role is $41.85 to $90.13 per hour, with actual compensation based on experience, education, geography, and other factors. This position is eligible for bonuses, commissions, or short-term incentive programs along with the base pay.

CVS Health offers a comprehensive benefits package to support the physical, emotional, and financial well-being of its employees and their families. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and more, tailored to meet eligibility criteria. The company is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and considers qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records in compliance with legal requirements. Join CVS Health and be part of a dedicated team that is simplifying healthcare one person, one family, and one community at a time.
