Job Description

CVS Health is a leading healthcare innovation company dedicated to building a world of health around every individual. As the largest retail health care provider in the United States and a Fortune Top 10 industry leader, CVS Health aims to create a connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience that simplifies healthcare for people, families, and communities. The company is known for its passionate colleagues who drive innovation with purpose, prioritize safety, and maintain accountability and quality in all operations. CVS Health offers a wide range of services through its MinuteClinic locations, providing affordable and accessible healthcare with a focus on high-quality patient care and holistic approaches. The company holds the prestigious American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Pathway to Excellence designation, reflecting its commitment to fostering a healthy work environment and professional development.

This job opening is for a part-time float position, requiring 20-25 hours per week, located at clinics in the Central and South Houston Area. The role offers a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $66.50 to $77.50 based on experience, with additional shift differentials and a quarterly incentive plan. The position involves delivering exceptional in-person and virtual healthcare services to patients at MinuteClinic facilities. Providers in this role enjoy autonomy with strong organizational support, flexible scheduling, and excellent work-life balance. They have access to advanced clinical tools and resources, evidence-based guidelines, and opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. The role is clinic-based, with virtual care visits conducted during times of lower onsite patient volume without compromising in-person care. Providers are empowered to practice at the top of their licenses in a collaborative environment that values safety, quality, and patient well-being.

As a healthcare provider at MinuteClinic, your primary responsibility will be to deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. You will conduct both in-person and virtual visits to support positive health outcomes, performing diagnostic tests and preventive counseling while coordinating care with other medical professionals. The role requires active participation in clinic operations such as inventory management, appointment scheduling, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection. Providers will engage patients in wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive health screenings, ensuring a safe and efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely patient care management. Charting and follow-up are completed during your scheduled shift, so no work is taken home, promoting a healthy work-life balance. This position offers the chance to join a nationally recognized healthcare leader dedicated to quality and compassionate care, where you can make a meaningful impact on the health and lives of the communities you serve.
