Job Description
This Nurse Manager Surgery position is with a highly respected healthcare organization located in Northern California, recognized for excellence in perioperative services and patient-centered care. The department includes multiple operating rooms and a highly skilled team consisting of perioperative nurses, surgical technologists, and anesthesia professionals committed to providing safe and efficient patient care. The Nurse Manager of Surgery is tasked with maintaining high-quality standards, improving workflow efficiency, and supporting initiatives designed to enhance patient satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Director of Surgical Services, the Nurse Manager will have strong support from executive leadership to guide daily departmental operations, staffing, physician relations, budgeting, and key performance improvement activities.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience including perioperative services
- proven leadership experience managing surgical or perioperative teams
- current RN license in California
- knowledge of operating room technologies and safety protocols
- excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- Registered nurse licensure
- several years of perioperative nursing experience
- leadership experience in a surgical services setting
- knowledge of advanced surgical technologies and procedures
