Job Requirements
- bachelor of science in nursing or higher
- current registered nurse licensure
- minimum of five years of nursing leadership experience in cardiovascular services
- experience managing cardiac catheterization lab operations
- strong knowledge of quality and safety standards in cardiac care
- ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and executives
- commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment
Job Qualifications
- registered nurse with valid license
- extensive experience in cardiovascular nursing leadership
- proven track record in managing high-acuity invasive cardiac services
- strong knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures and technologies
- experience with quality and safety metric management
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to lead multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical decision support
Job Duties
- lead and manage the cardiovascular service line nursing team
- oversee operations in the cardiac cath lab including interventional catheterization, electrophysiology, and angiography
- develop and implement strategic plans for service line growth and quality improvement
- collaborate with physician chiefs and executives on budgeting and accreditation
- advance quality and safety metrics such as door-to-balloon times and device registry outcomes
- optimize patient throughput and workflow efficiency
- champion electronic health record order sets and clinical decision support tools
- steward capital investments and technology adoption roadmaps
- cultivate a collaborative and diverse nursing team focused on continuous improvement
