The Clinical Nurse Concierge role at BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy holds a vital position in coordinating and managing patient care throughout the continuum. This position involves working directly with immunoglobulin patients and referral sources by introducing them to the pharmacy's services and programs, providing support for sales teams, and ensuring smooth communication and problem resolution. The Clinical Nurse Concierge acts as the single point of contact for patients and referral sources, guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction and advocacy. This role is responsible for overseeing the referral process, maintaining electronic medical records, and educating patients on infusion product options and insurance details.

Key responsibilities include coordinating care plans with home health agencies, laboratories, and infusion centers, managing pharmacy dispensing schedules, and ensuring patients receive the right supplies and educational materials. Additionally, the Clinical Nurse Concierge participates in quality assurance initiatives, compliance monitoring, and clinical program audits, including Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) and disease-specific programs such as IgG and Hemophilia. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Job Requirements

  • Requires BA/BS in health related field and minimum 5 years clinical experience or equivalent
  • current unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s)
  • multi-state licensure required if servicing multiple states
  • able to work in hybrid model with 1-2 days in office
  • willing to comply with vaccination requirements including COVID-19 and Influenza
  • must reside within reasonable commuting distance or have accommodation
  • background checks and legal compliance as per state and federal laws
  • strong coordination and communication skills
  • ability to manage patient care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Introduce and inform current and new immunoglobulin patients and referral sources about services and programs offered
  • provide additional touchpoints to customers and resources for outside salespeople
  • oversee the referral process and maintain electronic medical records
  • explain infusion product offerings and benefits to patients and physicians
  • act as single point of contact ensuring customer satisfaction
  • provide advocacy and industry-leading customer service
  • intervene when potential system bottlenecks arise
  • develop and distribute patient educational materials
  • communicate competitive advantages
  • discuss insurance limits with patients
  • liaise between home health agencies, infusion centers and physicians to coordinate discharge and care plans
  • coordinate therapeutic monitoring with healthcare agencies, laboratories, and specialty pharmacies
  • manage pharmacy dispensing schedules and verify supplies
  • coordinate patient teaching and lab arrangements
  • monitor patient therapy response and communicate adverse reactions
  • manage communications, scheduling, logistics and compliance with clinical program requirements
  • participate in quality assurance and ensure regulatory adherence.
