We are currently offering exciting career opportunities for the role of Numerical Control Multiple Tool - Milling Machine Operator within our Fabrication team located in Everett, Renton, Auburn, and Puyallup, Washington. This full-time, hourly position pays $31.32 per hour with the potential to earn up to $59.47 per hour in accordance with union agreements. As a Numerical Control Multiple Tool - Milling Machine Operator, you will operate sophisticated numerically controlled milling machines that require precision, technical skill, and strict adherence to quality standards. Your work will be foundational to producing components that meet stringent safety, quality, and compliance standards vital to the aerospace industry.

In this role, you will set up, adjust, and operate milling machines using a variety of control media, programming documents, and cutting tools. You will interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions to prepare and perform machining operations with great accuracy. Your responsibilities will also involve performing quality checks using precision measuring instruments, detecting tool faults, and making necessary adjustments or corrective actions to uphold operational efficiency and safety. Safety is paramount in this position; you will adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment while handling machinery and materials.

This position requires physical activity including lifting up to 35 pounds, various physical movements such as bending, climbing, reaching, and working in settings where you may be exposed to metals, solvents, and coolants. It is a 100% onsite role requiring your presence at one of the specified Washington locations. Candidates must be a US Person as defined by export control laws, and current Boeing Puget Sound employees need to follow specific internal application protocols. The role is union-represented under the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) and involves working variable shifts.
