The Sous Chef will play a vital role within this elite airport lounge environment, working under the guidance of the Head Chef to oversee high-quality food production, menu-based catering, and kitchen operations that meet the premium standards expected by discerning clientele. This position includes responsibilities such as stock control, managing budgets, staff rostering, mentoring, training, and maintaining a keen focus on hygiene and allergen controls. Job Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Leadership skills and ability to mentor and train kitchen staff
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles
  • Availability to work varied hours including weekends and public holidays
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP regulations
  • Passionate about culinary creativity and innovation
