The company is recognized for its vibrant culture and dedicated team-oriented environment, adhering firmly to their 'Work Hard. Have Fun.' philosophy, which fosters both professional growth and an enjoyable workplace experience. As one of the fastest-growing chicken concepts in the United States, Raising Cane's is on track to become a Top 10 Restaurant Brand, reflecting its widespread popularity and success in the industry.
Raising Cane's places great importance on each crew member contributing to the ongoing growth and enduring success of the brand. They offer competitive compensation packages that include a base salary starting from $57,500 to $65,000, with additional earning opportunities through their Restaurant Monthly Incentive Program. Total Target Cash, which combines the base pay with monthly incentives, can potentially reach between $85,196 and $92,696, contingent upon restaurant performance and eligibility criteria. This package demonstrates the company's commitment to rewarding hard work and operational excellence.
The available position is for a Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader, a key leadership role within Raising Cane's. This role is crucial for supporting new restaurant openings by overseeing the training team and fostering their development. The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader also holds responsibility for training hourly restaurant managers and Assistant Restaurant Leaders during deployments at various locations. This role is designed to support and sustain the high standards and culture that Raising Cane's promotes across all restaurant operations.
The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations both before and after a restaurant's opening and will lead new restaurant openings when required. The position demands working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, which involves physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. Employees in this role must be prepared to work in diverse environmental conditions involving food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning chemicals requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
Key responsibilities include leading the training team and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of new restaurant setups, enforcing company policies and operational standards, managing shifts with a focus on safety and operational efficiency, conducting performance observation walks, and contributing to strategy planning and execution. The role also entails other duties as assigned, emphasizing flexibility and a strong commitment to operational excellence.
Raising Cane's offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time Restaurant Managers, including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits, flexible spending accounts, company-provided life and disability insurance, and additional coverages such as hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness insurance. The company also offers a 401(k) plan with employer matching for employees aged 21 and older, access to financial advisors for budgeting and retirement planning, a gym membership program, tuition reimbursement, assistance programs, and even pet insurance. Managerial perks include weekly pay, competitive pay with monthly bonuses, paid time off, paid sick time, holiday pay, early company event closures, casual work attire, and employee discounts through Perkspot.
This role requires candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, are essential. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in restaurant or retail management, possess advanced knowledge of labor laws and operational management, and preferably have new restaurant opening experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some college education preferred, and candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. This opportunity provides a dynamic and rewarding career path for individuals passionate about restaurant leadership and brand growth at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers.
