The hiring establishment is a well-respected family medicine practice located in San Marcos, Texas, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care within a collaborative outpatient setting. This medical facility is committed to supporting community health by offering comprehensive services that cater to a broad range of patient needs from preventive care to the management of chronic illnesses. The team prides itself on fostering long-term relationships with patients, ensuring continuity of care, and promoting overall wellness. This outpatient practice serves as a primary healthcare destination for individuals and families in the San Marcos area, providing personalized care plans that reflect the unique health goals and circumstances of each patient.
We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team. The role is designed for a dedicated healthcare professional who values collaboration and holistic care. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing full-scope primary care including preventive services, acute care, and chronic disease management within an outpatient setting. This position entails conducting patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings, as well as ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will also develop and manage individualized treatment plans in partnership with supervising physicians, ensuring the delivery of coordinated and effective healthcare services.
This opportunity offers a Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, providing a balanced work-life dynamic with outpatient-only responsibilities. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, reflecting the value placed on skilled practitioners who can independently manage patient care while also contributing to a collaborative team environment. Additionally, this position comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, paid time off, a continuing medical education (CME) allowance, and participation in a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match. This role is ideal for a motivated healthcare provider looking to build lasting patient relationships in a supportive and well-established family medicine practice.
