Job Requirements

  • willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the processes
  • able to problem solve, learn on the fly, process and technical learning, and quality decision
  • must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently

Job Duties

  • Operate assigned machinery in a safe and efficient manner
  • equipment may include oven systems, mixer and blender equipment, frosting coating machine, bagging machines, pan washing machines
  • maintains and adjusts freezer-retard temperature and sets timer to required setting
  • monitors the process to ensure continuous bakery product process flow through conveyor systems
  • will operate various PLC panels to control proper flow of product
  • troubleshoots process and makes speed adjustments
  • document weight, product yield, downtime and additional metrics
  • collaborates with the in-line product laminator and mixer to ensure continuous product flow
  • adjusts ensuring product standards, specifications, and customer requirements are met
  • follow all GMPs, Food Defense and quality policies
  • ensures all GMP and all food hygiene and safety standards are in compliance
  • report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen or magnet deviancies, glass breakage, and pest harborage
