The position available is for a Host, an integral role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that suits such a historic and well-loved venue. The Host will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm greetings, seating customers efficiently, and ensuring a smooth flow of service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

More than just a greeter, the Host is essential for managing front-of-house operations including taking names on waiting lists, accurately quoting wait times, organizing the seating plan, and monitoring table statuses. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a bustling environment. Additionally, the Host is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host area and restrooms, handling to-go orders if applicable, and answering phones while providing knowledgeable information about the menu and restaurant policies. The position requires constant standing, some lifting, and vigilance to ensure guest satisfaction and safety within a busy restaurant environment.
