Job Requirements

  • ability to work broil grill and/or sauté
  • handle hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
  • ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively within a team
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • strong grasp of various cooking methods food items equipment etc
  • clear understanding of menu items and responsibility for prepping ingredients
  • be able to multitask in a high-volume kitchen

Job Qualifications

  • experience working with charcoal grills
  • strong knowledge of various cooking methods and food preparation techniques
  • ability to follow recipes and presentation standards accurately
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • prior experience in a similar role preferred

Job Duties

  • work with and manage the charcoal grill ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • handle knives and operate kitchen equipment with precision and safety
  • coordinate food orders to ensure timely and efficient delivery to each table
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety
  • follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations
  • prep food and assist kitchen staff in executing menu items to the highest standard
  • ensure all food is prepared in a timely fashion and meets high-quality standards
  • label food and ensure proper rotation (FIFO)
  • meet special guest requests while maintaining the same high-quality standards
