Job Description

Senor Panchos is a well-established Tex-Mex restaurant located in Soldotna, Alaska, known for its loyal guest base, strong sales, and consistent execution. With a reputation built on authentic flavors and exceptional service, Senor Panchos offers a vibrant dining experience that celebrates the best of Mexican cuisine. This high-volume restaurant prides itself on maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere without the pressure of late-night hours, providing an excellent work-life balance for its team members. The brand's enduring presence in the community and its commitment to quality have made it a favored dining destination for locals and visitors alike. Senor Panchos stands out as a place where employees can grow professionally within a supportive environment, backed by ownership that encourages operational excellence and team development.

The restaurant is currently seeking to fill two key leadership positions: General Manager (GM) and Kitchen Manager (KM). These roles offer a unique chance to lead a proven operation with the ability to drive performance, cultivate a strong team, and elevate business outcomes. The General Manager will take ownership of full profit and loss responsibilities, labor management, and overall restaurant performance. This role requires leadership of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams, focusing on driving sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, and maintaining high service standards. The ideal GM will also foster a positive culture that promotes accountability and staff retention.

On the other side, the Kitchen Manager will oversee all back-of-house operations in this busy kitchen. Responsibilities include managing food costs, inventory, ordering, preparation systems, and ensuring consistent recipe execution and timely ticket completion. The KM will play a crucial role in training and developing kitchen staff, enforcing cleanliness and food safety standards, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Both positions require hands-on leadership, a strong operational mindset, and the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Senor Panchos offers competitive salaries with bonus structures and benefits such as health insurance and paid time off (PTO). The supportive ownership team values operational backing and employee well-being, highlighting the importance of balance and professional growth. Relocation support is available for candidates willing to move to Soldotna, Alaska, making this opportunity accessible to talent outside the local area.

For professionals with management experience in Tex-Mex, Mexican, or high-volume full-service restaurant settings, this is an exceptional chance to join a seasoned establishment where their leadership skills will make a substantial impact. The restaurant's commitment to no late-night shifts ensures a better quality of life, setting this opportunity apart in the hospitality industry. Whether leading the entire restaurant as a General Manager or directing kitchen operations as a Kitchen Manager, candidates will find a role rich in responsibility, engagement, and growth potential. Senor Panchos invites passionate, driven hospitality professionals to apply and contribute to the ongoing success of this celebrated Tex-Mex concept.
