Currently, TheKey is seeking dedicated caregivers for weekend-only positions with flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours daily. The starting pay rate is highly competitive at $16.00 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding caregivers for their essential work. As a caregiver for TheKey, you will work closely with clients living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and other cognitive impairments, providing compassionate 1:1 support tailored to their unique needs. Your responsibilities will include delivering cognitive and behavioral support, assisting with personal care such as dressing and grooming, maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment, and providing transportation for appointments or errands. Additionally, offering companionship through conversation and activities designed to stimulate memory and sensory engagement will be a vital part of your daily duties.

Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification
  • One year of professional caregiving experience
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured vehicle
  • TB clearance or chest X-ray
  • Compliance with Florida Clearinghouse background screening
  • Eligibility to work in the US

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of professional caregiving experience
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification
  • Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured personal vehicle

Job Duties

  • Provide cognitive and behavioral support by offering gentle reminders and redirection
  • Assist clients with personal care including dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meal assistance
  • Maintain home safety and perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
  • Transport clients to appointments, errands, and grocery shopping
  • Offer companionship through conversation, music, memory games, and sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs
