FSWM is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned salesperson to manage and expand the Northern California market. The role is tailored for a proactive, self-motivated individual with extensive experience in wholesale wine distribution sales. The salesperson will inherit a territory composed entirely of high-quality restaurant and retail accounts, yet with the potential to broaden their reach into the wider Northern California area. Reporting directly to Fleet Street’s VP of California Sales based in Los Angeles and the Sales Director based in New York, the candidate will play a pivotal role in not only maintaining but expanding FSWM’s market presence in this vibrant region.

The Northern California Salesperson's role involves a combination of relationship management and business development, including regular client visits, portfolio tastings, and lead generation through cold calling and walking. This is a results-driven position where meeting revenue and new account targets is crucial for success. FSWM offers a competitive compensation package with a guaranteed base salary ranging from $38,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience, complemented by a commission structure that evolves over the first year and beyond. After an initial period with base pay plus commission, the compensation shifts to a commission-only model with an additional company profitability bonus. The role also benefits from paid travel and dining expenses and includes valuable health, dental, and vision insurance along with a 401(k) matching plan, underscoring FSWM’s commitment to employee well-being and financial security.
