D&G Solutions is currently seeking a Non-Destructive Inspector (NDI), Evaluator and Tester to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, under the Technical Support Services (TSS) contract. The role of Non-Destructive Inspector Evaluator and Tester is critically important as it supports Coast Guard aviation readiness by ensuring that aircraft structures and components meet the highest airworthiness standards. The Aviation Logistics Center provides depot-level maintenance and logistical support to a fleet including aircraft such as the C-27J Spartan, HC-144 Ocean Sentry, C-130 H/J Hercules, MH-60T Jayhawk, and MH-65D/E Dolphin. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply expert-level knowledge of advanced non-destructive inspection techniques to evaluate and verify the integrity and safety of aviation assets.

As a Level II NDI technician, you will perform inspections on repaired, overhauled, reworked, manufactured, and investigative aircraft components. The role involves applying certified non-destructive inspection methods including liquid penetrant testing (LPT), magnetic particle testing (MPT), eddy current testing (ET), and ultrasonic testing (UT) per NAS410 standards. You will evaluate non-destructive parameters, recommend procedural changes to improve inspection processes, and collaborate with maintenance teams to help ensure that all components and assemblies are airworthy and meet strict quality standards.

Your expertise will be instrumental in failure and root cause analyses as well as mishap investigations, providing technical insight to support the sustained operational readiness of USCG aircraft. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft structures, metallic and non-metallic materials, and manufacturing processes, enabling you to provide defensible recommendations based on precise inspection findings. The position also demands physical capacity to conduct inspections that involve standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing aircraft structures, and handling items up to 50 pounds.
