The current job opening is for a Non-Class Delivery Driver based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role is integral to Admiral Beverage’s operations, focusing on the safe and efficient delivery of beverage products across various delivery points including urban, rural, and highway environments. The position requires driving a manual transmission truck, and candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license to comply with federal and state regulations. The Non-Class Delivery Driver functions without direct supervision, managing deliveries along established routes, maintaining communication with supervisors about any issues or customer concerns, and ensuring all documentation and inventory records are accurately maintained through computerized systems. This is a frontline role that involves both driving and hands-on handling of products, including loading and unloading trucks, operating pallet jacks, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance. Job Duties
- Drives truck to deliver beverage product to customer's place of business on highway, rural and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations
- works without direct supervision to deliver product on established route
- effectively communicates issues and customer concerns to supervisor
- records sales, buy back, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record
- operates computerized inventory and invoicing system
- operates hand trucks and electric pallet jacks
- collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise
- conducts and/or supervises truck loading and unloading and secures loads
- issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
- performs daily inspection and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance on truck, maintains vehicle cleanliness
- constructs or assembles display aids from company provided point of sale (POS) materials
- wears company provided safety devices and uniforms as appropriate to comply with safety and standards and procedures
- other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time
