Sweeping Corp of America is currently hiring for the Non-CDL Parking Lot Sweeper position. This role is vital to the company's mission by maintaining the cleanliness and safety of parking lots and shopping center areas. As a Parking Lot Sweeper, employees will be responsible for operating specialized sweeping equipment and overseeing assigned routes with attention to detail and quality. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $15.50 to $18.00 per hour, depending on location, and provides weekly paychecks. Job Requirements

  • High school or GED
  • One year driving experience waste and recycling services experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record MVR check, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law

Job Duties

  • Review routes in advance and complete assigned work on time with attention to quality
  • Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is safe and operational before starting work
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, follow traffic laws and site protocols, and handle materials according to disposal and safety procedures
  • Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork
  • Represent the company professionally and communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
  • Respond effectively to changing conditions, solve problems as they arise, and maintain regular, predictable attendance
