SCA is now hiring Non-CDL Parking Lot Sweepers who will play an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and safety across parking lots and shopping centers. This role involves driving parking lot sweepers along assigned routes, operating specialized equipment, and handling materials in accordance with safety and disposal protocols. Job Requirements
- High school or GED
- One year driving experience, waste and recycling experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 21 years of age
- Maintain acceptable driving record
- Pass motor vehicle record check
- Pass background check
- Pass DOT physical
- Pass drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of driving experience, preferably in waste and recycling services
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass motor vehicle record check, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of safety and operational procedures
Job Duties
- Review routes in advance and complete assigned work on time
- Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment
- Operate parking lot sweeping equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all traffic laws and site-specific protocols
- Handle materials according to safety and disposal procedures
- Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients
- Adapt to changing conditions and maintain reliable attendance
