Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate in English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and converse with customers
- Ability to operate vehicle safely in various traffic and weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift and move products up to 100 pounds
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to converse with the public and comply with safety regulations
- Strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
- Effective work planning and organization skills
- Knowledge of product and inventory control procedures
- Ability to communicate articulately and perform simple arithmetic
- Adaptability and trust-building skills
Job Duties
- Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using hand cart and place in designated customer storage areas
- Frequently lift, push, or move product weighing 1 to 75 pounds, up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Verify delivery items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Contact management for discrepancies and communicate errors or returns
- Handle customer complaints professionally
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations and company policies
