Job Description
Hub Group Final Mile is a reputable logistics company specializing in last mile delivery services, focusing on delivering goods directly to consumers' homes with efficiency and professionalism. As part of the broader Hub Group network, known for its innovative and reliable transportation solutions, Hub Group Final Mile emphasizes customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and secure delivery of various products. The company has built a strong reputation in the industry for its commitment to quality service and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and contractors alike. Operating with a local delivery model, Hub Group Final Mile offers service providers an opportunity to work close to home, facilitating better work-life balance and consistent schedules. The employment type for this role is Independent Contractor, which offers flexibility for individuals who are self-motivated and entrepreneurial in spirit. Compensation is competitive, with gross weekly earnings up to $3,300 depending on location and route, enhanced by benefits such as sign-on bonuses and timely weekly settlements through direct deposit.
The role available is for Non-CDL Independent Contractors who own and operate 26-foot box trucks equipped with lift gates, catering specifically to appliance delivery and installation. Contractors must have their own truck and may need to provide a driver helper when necessary. This role requires someone with professional experience or a willingness to learn the trade of appliance installation. Core duties include delivering household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwave ovens, and stoves, with basic hook-up and installation tasks. The job demands technical skill with tools, adherence to manufacturer installation instructions, and the physical ability to manage heavy household items safely and efficiently. Importantly, this is a local delivery position with a workweek from Monday to Saturday, ensuring that contractors can remain home daily. This setup is ideal for individuals seeking steady work with direct deposit payments and online access to settlements, providing financial transparency and convenience. The company encourages candidates with valid driver licenses and good driving records who either already possess or are willing to obtain necessary operating authority and DOT numbers to apply. This opportunity is suited for self-driven entrepreneurial individuals looking to partner with a stable and growing logistics provider for a fulfilling career in appliance delivery and installation.
