Job Description
TransForce is a leading transportation staffing company dedicated to connecting qualified drivers with employers nationwide. With a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and driver support, TransForce has established a reputation as a reliable partner in the logistics and transportation industry. They specialize in providing staffing solutions that cater to a variety of driving roles including CDL and non-CDL positions, local and regional routes, and temp-to-hire opportunities. Their extensive network and expertise allow drivers to find positions that match their qualifications and career goals.
The current opening is for a Non-CDL Driver based in City of Industry, California. This role is tailored for drivers with at least two years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience who seek local route assignments with a temp-to-hire employment type. The position involves delivering products to various store locations, ensuring timely transportation and maintaining adherence to scheduled routes. Drivers will operate vehicles with automatic transmissions, providing an easier and more comfortable driving experience.
This opportunity offers competitive compensation, with a pay rate of $21 per hour. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10 hours each day, with the potential for an additional fifth day if required. Drivers in this role will primarily handle light touch freight, which may involve managing shipments that do not require extensive manual lifting or complex handling procedures, making it suitable for individuals who prefer lighter material handling tasks.
TransForce places a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. Drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean motor vehicle record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last three years. Compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements is mandatory to ensure safe and responsible operations.
Working as a Non-CDL Driver with TransForce provides more than just a job; it’s a career pathway with opportunities for growth, stability, and continued professional development. The company fosters a supportive work environment where drivers are respected professionals and their safety and career objectives are prioritized. Additional benefits include competitive weekly pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) retirement plan, and a referral program that rewards drivers for helping to grow the team.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a structured schedule, value safety and professionalism, and want to be part of a reputable company that values and supports its drivers. TransForce continues to accept applications on an ongoing basis, making it a timely opportunity for those ready to begin or elevate their driving careers in the City of Industry area.
