This position offers a split schedule that includes 5 to 6 days of work per week, typically with Wednesday or Thursday off, and requires availability for weekend shifts. The primary work hours are from 5 to 8 a.m. during dispatch, extending up to 12-14 hour shifts until deliveries are complete. The pay rate for this role is $22.50 per hour, reflecting competitive compensation aligned with the responsibilities and skills required.

The role is focused on multi-stop delivery operations, requiring the ability to load, unload, and transport various food products efficiently and safely. Physical stamina is essential as the job entails frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of weights up to 100 pounds. The candidate must also perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance with transportation regulations.

The ideal candidate for this position will be at least 21 years old, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with the required endorsements, and have a clean driving record free of significant violations or suspensions in recent years. Experience in multi-stop delivery, local delivery, or the foodservice industry is preferred. Additionally, the person must be able to read, write, and communicate in English sufficiently to follow safety regulations and complete documentation accurately.
