The role available is for a Delivery Driver position with a split schedule covering 5-6 days a week, including weekends, with either Wednesday or Thursday off. The work schedule typically starts early in the morning from 5 to 8 a.m. and lasts until the delivery route is complete, often resulting in 12 to 14-hour shifts. The pay rate for this role is $22.50 per hour. This position requires physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy loads and maneuvering deliveries using equipment such as hand trucks. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting products from the vehicle to various delivery locations, following precise stop sequences, and ensuring all deliveries and returns are accurately documented.

Ensuring the safety and quality of the products during delivery is a key responsibility, including frequent checks of refrigeration systems and adherence to safe food handling procedures. Candidates must perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain communication with internal teams such as Customer Service and Transportation Supervisors to resolve any delivery-related issues. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential to building strong relationships with customers and contributing to overall customer loyalty. This role requires strong adaptability, trustworthiness, and follow-up capabilities alongside the ability to demonstrate defensive driving techniques. Candidates should expect to work under sometimes extreme weather conditions and demonstrate safe lifting and loading methods to ensure personal and customer safety.
