US Foods is a leading foodservice distributor in the United States, providing a wide array of food products, kitchen equipment, and supplies to restaurants, healthcare facilities, and hospitality establishments. Known for its strong commitment to customer service and operational excellence, US Foods has a long-standing reputation for fostering a supportive work environment that promotes internal growth and development. The company emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and innovation, making it a preferred employer in the foodservice distribution industry. They offer robust training programs, career advancement opportunities, and a culture that values the contributions of each team member.

The Non CDL Driver I position at US Foods is a critical delivery role that involves driving a company vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) limit of 14,900 pounds. This role requires delivering a variety of foodservice products such as meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, and kitchen equipment to multiple customer locations. The driver is expected to deliver best-in-class customer service by meeting scheduled delivery times, ensuring product quality, and handling the unloading and placement of delivered products with care. While previous commercial or professional driving experience is preferred, it is not required, as US Foods provides the necessary training and support to succeed in this role.

As a Non CDL Driver, you will play a pivotal part in US Foods' supply chain, representing the company in front of customers and supporting operational success through timely and accurate deliveries. The role involves rigorous physical activity, including lifting items that can weigh up to 80 pounds and maneuvering products using hand trucks, sometimes in adverse weather conditions. Additionally, this position requires compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and passing a non-DOT physical exam. Scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional Saturdays and potential for overtime, the position offers a pay rate of $23 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role within the US Foods delivery network.

Working at US Foods means being part of a community that values hard work, dedication, and mutual respect. The company is dedicated to the ongoing development and wellbeing of its employees, offering competitive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Joining the US Foods transportation team means being supported in building a rewarding career path with room to grow within a respected industry leader. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of a large-scale food distribution system while developing valuable skills and gaining hands-on experience within the transportation and logistics field.
