Job Requirements
- Must hold a drivers license
- must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
- must pass DOT physical as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
- must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time
- must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time
- must be able to travel frequently
- CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven in order to deliver to EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
- this is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen

Job Duties
- Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
- transport loads safely and in a timely manner, obeying all traffic laws and observing safety regulations
- maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following crew signals
- assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when needed
- maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading and deliver documentation after route completion
- perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, reporting malfunctions to shipping supervisor
- arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
- perform other related duties as assigned
